We’re seeking a talented, full-time  Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)  to join our  Assessment and IEP Evaluation Team  in  Philadelphia, PA .

Professional License Requirements: Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Visually Impaired PK-12
What to Expect from This Role: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ functional vision and educational needs Evaluate the impact of visual impairment on academic and social-emotional development Administer various assessment tools and document findings Collaborate with parents, educators, and related service providers Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to evaluation reports Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Recommend and support use of assistive technologies Ensure proper documentation, compliance with state/federal guidelines, and timely submission of reports Foster strong relationships with students, families, and school staff Perform all other duties related to special education as required
