In-person, K-12 age groups Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with visual impairments. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to facilitate comprehensive support. Deliver direct instruction and adapt curriculum materials to meet diverse needs. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding academic and social development. Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and IEP progress. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Special Education, preferably with a focus on visual impairments. Valid teaching certification for students with visual impairments. Experience working with K-12 students is highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
