This opportunity is for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in Irving, TX, on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). The role involves providing specialized services to approximately three visually impaired students, with minimal twice-weekly visits tailored to each students needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
Collaborate effectively with related services staff to support student progress.
Deliver specialized instruction and support adapted to each students visual impairment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and coordinate with school personnel.
Qualifications:
Valid Texas State Teaching License with Visually Handicapped endorsement for grades PK-12.
Demonstrated experience working with visually impaired students.
Strong ability to write and implement IEPs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills with education and related services staff.
Location:
Irving, Texas, serving students within the K-12 framework.
