Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to the needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Utilize specialized instructional strategies and assistive technologies to enhance communication and learning.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
Participate in professional development and team meetings related to deaf education.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with a focus or endorsement in Deaf Education or related field.
Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods.
