This position is based in Sacramento, CA, for the 2025/2026 school year. The role involves providing specialized support to a caseload of approximately 45 students and requires itinerant service delivery across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to ensure an inclusive and effective learning environment. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress regularly. Provide communication access, including the use of appropriate accommodations and assistive technologies. Travel within the district to serve students at various school sites. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching certification with specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Strong understanding of audiological and communication needs. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 45 students. Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills. Willingness to work solely in person and travel between campuses. Position Details: Contract position for the full 2025/2026 school year. Full-time commitment is 35 hours per week; part-time candidates will also be considered. In-person work setting with itinerant responsibilities across multiple campuses.
