An opportunity is available for a full-time Teacher specializing in Deaf/Hard of Hearing students. This full-semester contract position is within a K-12 educational setting located in Fountain, CO, with an immediate start date. Responsibilities include: Delivering specialized instruction tailored to deaf and hard of hearing students Developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Utilizing assistive technology and communication methods to enhance student learning Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly Supporting social and emotional development of students in the classroom Collaborating with parents, staff, and related service providers to ensure student success Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing Knowledge of language development and communication strategies such as ASL and auditory-verbal techniques Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Location: Fountain, Colorado This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the education and development of students with hearing loss in a supportive school environment.
