This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers a focused opportunity to support students requiring specialized instruction within a dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students who are deaf, hard of hearing, or visually impaired. Utilize specialized teaching strategies to promote academic and social development for students with sensory impairments. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to provide integrated and inclusive educational experiences. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed. Provide assistive technology training and support for students and staff. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state certification as a Teacher for Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Hearing Impaired Specialist, or Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
