Qualifications:
Certification or endorsement in teaching students who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
Degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
Experience working with early childhood age groups.
Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or other communication methods.
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters communication and social skills.
Collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families to promote effective learning strategies.
Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
