A distinguished K-12 educational institution in San Francisco, CA is seeking a qualified Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) instruction for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This position offers an opportunity to provide essential educational services to students with hearing impairments across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 25 students. Provide consultation services for an additional 26 students, collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff. Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families and school personnel. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varied needs of learners. Qualifications and Experience: Possession of a valid DHH teaching credential. Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within the K-12 setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple caseloads and provide both direct and consultative services. Position Details: Location: Various sites within San Francisco, CA. Grade Levels: All K-12 grade levels. Duration: Contract from immediate start through June 5, 2026. Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week in accordance with site schedules, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
