We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing  (TODHH)  to join our Assessment and IEP Evaluation Team in Philadelphia, PA. This part -time, 12-month position offers excellent pay, benefits, PTO, and paid holidays!
Key responsibilities include: ? Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations to determine the educational needs of students with hearing impairments. Utilize various assessment tools and techniques to gather relevant data. Collaboration and Consultation: Work with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Ensure IEPs include appropriate accommodations, modifications, and services. IEP Development: Set specific, measurable goals for each student based on assessment data. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential records. Ensure compliance with special education regulations and submit reports on time.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certificate for Hearing Impaired PK-12. Experience in conducting educational assessments and evaluations. Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in using technology for assessments and documentation. Physical Requirements: Ability to move about the school environment.
