TEACHER OF COGNITIVELY IMPAIRED Location: Forest Park Schools, Iron County Start Date: On or after August 25, 2025 The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Cognitively Impaired for the 2025–26 school year. This position follows the school calendar and is based at Forest Park Schools in Crystal Falls, MI. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mental Retardation or Cognitive Impairment

Valid Michigan teaching certificate with CI endorsement

Meets Michigan Special Education Rules requirements

Ability to physically assist students as needed

Valid driver’s license (driving may be required)

Job Duties Include: Delivering individualized instruction focused on academic, social, and life skills

Developing and implementing IEPs

Supervising classroom aides

Collaborating with parents and professionals

Ensuring compliance with special education procedures
