Start Date: August 18, 2025 End Date: June 30, 2026 Location: Near Reisterstown, MD Schedule: 3540 hours per week (based on school bell schedules) Student Population: Pre-K through 12th Grade Caseload: Approximately 2025 students A local school district near Reisterstown, Maryland is seeking a full-time Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 20252026 school year. This is an in-person , itinerant role that serves students across multiple school sites. Responsibilities Provide specially designed instruction per students' IEPs Conduct assessments and evaluations related to visual impairments Support student access to the general education curriculum Collaborate with IEP teams, related service providers, and families Travel to various school sites as assigned Position Details Work hours range from 7:30 AM3:00 PM, 8:00 AM3:30 PM, or 9:00 AM4:00 PM depending on site placement School sites to be determined Laptop provided by the school/district This position is onsite only; virtual/hybrid candidates will not be considered Required Qualifications Maryland Teacher Certification or Licensure with TVI Endorsement Experience working with visually impaired students preferred Strong knowledge of IEP implementation and special education law About the Role This TVI opportunity offers a stable full-time schedule supporting students from Pre-K through high school .
