A part-time opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized support to an elementary student in Greenville, GA. This contract position focuses on delivering tailored instruction and ensuring the student has full access to academic content through appropriate accommodations and resources. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized Braille literacy instruction and tactile learning experiences. Facilitate the student's use of assistive technology and ensure accessible learning materials. Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family members to effectively implement the students Individualized Education Program (IEP). Qualifications: Valid Georgia teaching license as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) is required. Experience working with elementary-aged students who have visual impairments preferred. Ability to work part-time during regular school hours (7:30 AM 3:30 PM), with a flexible schedule.
