Job Posting: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) Colorado Springs, CO Company: Soliant Education Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite and Itinerant Contract Term: 2025-2026 School Year Start Date: August 11, 2025 End Date: May 21, 2026 Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado Hourly Pay Range: $45 - $55/hour Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time, onsite position in Colorado Springs, CO. This is a contract opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year, serving a K-12 caseload. Travelling is required for the position as it is itinerant, mileage is reimbursed. Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments across a K-12 caseload Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students visual and educational needs Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments Adapt classroom materials and provide access to assistive technology Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and accommodations Requirements: Active Colorado TVI license (required) Bachelor's or Masters degree in Education of the Visually Impaired or related field Previous experience with K-12 students preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work onsite throughout the school year Benefits: Weekly Pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan Apply NOW to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with visual impairments.
