Soliant is seeking a compassionate and skilled Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team for a short-term assignment supporting middle and high school students across Texas. This part-time role offers the opportunity to work with students who have a range of visual impairments, including some medically fragile students and Braille users. What Youll Do: Deliver specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in both classroom and pull-out settings Adapt educational materials and resources to meet accessibility needs Provide Braille instruction and support to students using Braille as their primary literacy tool Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive support Monitor student progress and update instructional plans as needed Navigate between different campuses or learning environments as required Qualifications: Valid TVI certification/license required Experience supporting students in middle and high school preferred Proficiency with Braille and assistive technology Ability to manage a flexible schedule of 1 to 3 days per week Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additional Details: Schedule can be between 1-3 days a week Employment begins in August until the end of November Work will be based on-sitein Buda, TX
