Job Duties
- Researching and analyzing current educational trends and best practices to inform effective
teaching and coaching methods. - Designing and developing new curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and instructional guides.
- Collaborating with teachers to ensure curriculum and instructional strategies align with specific student needs and learning objectives.
- Providing professional development opportunities for teachers on effective instructional strategies.
- Observing classrooms to assess curriculum effectiveness and provide feedback to teachers
- Coordinating the induction, mentoring and evaluation processes of teachers.
- Collaborating with school leadership to enhance educator effectiveness.
- Working closely with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
- Staying informed about state and district educational policies and regulations impacting teacher certification.
- Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Director of Teaching & Learning.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Education with previous experience in building level or central office
level administration. - Must possess a valid SC Educator Certificate and other certifications as designated.
- Knowledge in the development, planning, organization, implementation and management of instructional programs and practices designed to meet educational objectives and requirements.
- Knowledge of the standards, regulations, and laws relating to educational activities.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with school and GREEN staff.
