Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, provide instructional support and assistance to
teachers and children in the child development and early education program for infant, toddlers and preschool age children; perform a variety of instructional and support activities related to positive behavior management and classroom instruction of students; perform a variety of clerical support duties related to classroom and program activities.

Salary Placement: The successful applicant will be placed on the appropriate salary schedule based on the range of the position being filled. The successful applicant will be placed on Step 1 unless given credit for prior verified related professional experience. Applicant shall provide all related professional experience on application materials to complete the years of experience verification. All of the following documents are required for this position:
Copy of Transcript (Associate’s degree preferred. • Three (3) semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited or approved college or university in infant and toddler care within one year of date of hire.)
CPR/First Aid Certification (Valid First Aid and CPR AED certificate issued by an authorized agency.)
Credential Copy (Valid California Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher)

Letter(s) of Reference (Required: Two (2) Letters of Reference. It is recommended that letters of references be authored by professional affiliations and specific to the open position)
