Penguin Crossing Academy is seeking full-time and part-time teachers for infant, toddler and preschool and kindergarten age groups. We are looking for both lead and assistant teachers with various levels of experience and educational credentials.

*Requirements*

* High school diploma required; higher educational credentials (CDA, associates or bachelors degree) is preferred and required for some classrooms * Childcare or teaching experience is helpful but not required to start * State required background check (fingerprints) and physical exam before starting * Dependable, reliable and professional * Positive energy with a love for working with children and families

*Basic Responsibilities*

* Plan and implement an age appropriate program that supports play, exploration and learning * Provide on-going communication with families and colleagues * Maintain a clean and aesthetic environment * Attend in-service education classes, training sessions and workshops * Serve as a role model for children by providing a professional appearance and appropriate mannerisms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
