A paraprofessional role is available to support students in a K-12 school setting located in Edison, NJ, for the upcoming school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a positive learning environment through direct support and intervention. Responsibilities: Provide behavior support and intervention to students, implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Assist with toileting and personal care routines Collect accurate and timely data related to student behavior and progress Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistent support Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Required Qualifications: Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques and data collection methods Ability to implement BIPs and follow guidance from BCBAs or behavioral specialists Strong interpersonal skills and patience in working with children of varying abilities Reliable and punctual with a commitment to the school schedule Location and Schedule: Edison, NJ Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Part-time (approximately 10 hours per week) Contract position spanning the full school year This role is well-suited for professionals seeking part-time hours and meaningful work within a school setting, supporting student development and behavior management.
