Job Summary: Provide primary teacher with support by assisting students with daily lessons. The teacher aide will also substitute for the primary teacher when teacher is absent from the classroom.


Essential Functions:

  • Cooperate with the Board and Hope Christian School Administration in implementing all policies, procedures and directives governing the operation of the school.
  • Comply with all Hope Christian School policies and procedures, which includes attending all required meetings/training.
  • Assist teacher with instructing student with the lesson plan.
  • Assist students in completing instructional assignments.
  • Assist with grading assignments.
  • Work in small groups to provide specialized assistance.
  • Perform clerical and non-instructional work as needed.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings, trainings, in-service, and chapels.
Requirements:
  • Reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ.
  • High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate, some college preferred.
  • 45 hour course completed in preschool.
  • Knowledge and experience in classroom management.
