Pay: $2,000-$2,200 per week.

Job Description: Contract through the 25/26 school year. The contract follows the academic district calendar - 37.5 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, or higher, in relation to Special Education from an accredited college or university. Special Education Teaching certification in the state of Indiana. Proficiency in the subject area; experience with case management, paperwork, compliance, and IEPs. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a special education teacher (or a related field), with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Must possess strong communication and organizational skills. Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

As a Special Education Teacher Supervisor you will: Provide guidance, mentoring, and professional development to special education teachers. Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. Assist in developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs. Oversee the development and implementation of specialized educational programs tailored to students with diverse learning needs. Collaborate with school leadership to ensure that special education services are integrated effectively into the school’s overall educational framework. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations regarding special education services. Maintain accurate records for all students in special education, including IEPs, assessments, progress reports, and other necessary documentation. Monitor timelines for IEP meetings and ensure all required paperwork is completed on time.
