Saint Joseph School is looking for a flexible and dedicated Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and support to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a classroom effectively, follow lesson plans, and maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Implement lesson plans and instructions left by the classroom teacher.
Manage student behavior and maintain a safe, orderly classroom.
Supervise students in various settings (e.g., classroom, lunchroom, playground).
Communicate with school staff regarding student progress or any concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Education preferred).
Previous experience working with children in a classroom or similar setting is a plus.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels and subjects.
