Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic substitute teachers to join our educational team. We are Classical-based, private Christian school. and familiarity with the Classical curriculum would be beneficial. the In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring that students continue to receive quality educational instruction in the absence of their regular teacher. You will engage with students in 1st grade. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage a classroom will be essential in fostering a productive atmosphere for learning.
Duties
Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of education. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a respectful learning environment. Communicate effectively with students, providing support and guidance as needed. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those of students with autism. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and resources. Foster positive relationships with students to encourage engagement and participation. Monitor student progress and provide feedback as necessary. Collaborate with other staff members to support student needs and enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with tutoring techniques or experience in private school environments is a plus. Knowledge of classroom management strategies and lesson planning is essential Background in classical and or Christian education is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth are essential qualities for this role.

Pay: $130.00 - $150.00 per day
