We are looking for dependable, caring individuals who love children to work as substitute teachers in early childhood education programs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

We provide qualified substitute infant to 5-year-old teachers to private schools, Montessori programs, day care centers, day schools and church child enrichment centers across the Metroplex including but not limited to Dallas, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Irving, Lewisville, Farmers Branch, Addison, and beyond.

Hours can be flexible for a variety of schedules: -From as little as 4 hours to 30+ hours per week -Weekdays -Weekends -Mornings and/or Afternoons -Full days, weeks -Opportunities for Overtime & Holiday pay -Examples include: 7 a.m. -4 p.m. , 7:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. , 8 a.m. -5 p.m. , 8:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. , 9 a.m. -6 p.m. , 8 a.m. -12 p.m. , 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. , 12 p.m. -6 p.m. , 2 p.m. -6 p.m.

Learn a variety of early childhood educational curriculum Grow as a teacher through professional development and training Gain experience working with all ages infant to 5-year-olds

Responsibilities Include:

Caring for preschool children-infants to 5 years in various center-based child care programs Including preschools, private schools, child development centers, day schools, Montessori schools, child enrichment centers and church programs We do not work in residential-based care Supervising and ensuring safety in the classroom Following classroom lesson plans and maintaining a fun learning environment Communicating with supervisor daily regarding assignments and schedule availability

Minimum Requirements:

-Must be at least 18 years of age -Have a HS diploma or GED -Experience working with children -Meet state requirements for child care caregivers -Be willing and able to travel to multiple locations

Qualifications Preferred:

-2+ years experience working in a licensed child care program -CPR/First Aid training certifications -Early Childhood Education degree or CDA preferred but not required
