Job Summary/Basic Function Responsible for the daily supervision of children within assigned group. Assists in the implementation of daily activities under the guidance of the group supervisor.

Understand and follow all center guidelines and policies.

Follow Department of Human Service and accreditation entity policies and regulations.

Assist with the development of lesson plans and individual child goals related to the assessment of children.

Attends training as required by DHS and accrediting organization(s).

Responsible for the safety and care of children in assigned group.

Administer medication when needed using proper procedures.

Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Support the philosophy of DCCC both at work and within the community.

Assist in maintaining an attractive, orderly, and cheerful classroom environment that promotes active growth, learning, and a positive atmosphere for all children and team members. Preferred Qualifications A valid Driver's Licence is required. Employees (operators) must have been in possession of a valid operator’s license for not less than three (3) years and the license must have been in good standing without interruption during that time period. No Successful candidate will also be required to complete ACT 153 Clearance Yes This position is considered "Emergency Staff." As such they may be required to report to work even when the college is closed or is operating under a delayed start.
