Located in Norristown, PA, this K-12 school is seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential speech and language services. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on creating and implementing strategies that support students communication needs. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language services. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in line with state and federal regulations. Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to foster student progress. Actively participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing student planning. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. Valid Pennsylvania SLP License and ASHA CCCs; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. PDE Certification (Educational Specialist) or a willingness to obtain one. Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
