We are seeking a Certified Special Education Teacher to work with K-12 students in Philadelphia. Why This Role Stands Out High Pay - Earn $55-$60/hr Stable Schedule - Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends Impactful Work - Help students with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays Professional Growth - Work alongside a team that encourages your career development Supportive Environment - We provide the tools and guidance you need to succeed in the classroom Your Responsibilities Provide instruction to students with special education needs across grade levels (K-12) Implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Use diagnostic assessments to guide instruction Track and monitor student progress through data collection and progress monitoring Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and other educators Maintain compliance with Pennsylvania Special Education laws and regulations Requirements Required: Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher Certification (Standard) Required: Current PA State Clearances - Police, Child Abuse, and Fingerprinting Experience: At least 1 year teaching in Special Education (required) 3+ years IEP experience (preferred) 2+ years working with students with multiple disabilities, emotional challenges, or developmental delays (preferred)
Master's in Special Education (preferred) Strong classroom management, communication, and problem-solving skills
