Position Details: Position: Special Education Teacher (LBS1) Location: St. Clair County, IL Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time Grade Levels: Pre-K–8th School Year: 2025–2026 Responsibilities: * Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals. * Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff. * Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning. * Modify curriculum and use adaptive strategies to meet student needs. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education requirements. * Engage in school and district professional development as needed. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. * Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement. * Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
