Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team! This position offers competitive hourly pay while providing specialized support to students with diverse learning needs. You will play an essential role in creating inclusive learning environments that promote growth and academic success. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs. Collaborating with general education teachers to design inclusive lessons and strategies. Providing direct instruction in various subjects, using adaptive teaching methods to engage students. Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional techniques as necessary. Maintaining communication with parents and caregivers regarding student development. Small group teaching (preschool ASD classroom with 6-9 kids) Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred. State certification in Special Education. Must have Moderate or Severe Special Education license Experience working with students with developmental disabilities and diverse learning needs. Strong understanding of individualized learning strategies and behavioral management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families. Passion for supporting students in achieving their educational goals. Benefits 1099 position $50-$60/hour (depending on experience level)
