\*\*Job Overview:\*\*

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with autism and developmental disabilities, and will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students. Must be a licened special education teacher in Illinois.

\*\*Duties:\*\*

- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs

- Provide instruction tailored to the individual learning styles and needs of each student

- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment

- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed

- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth

\*\*Requirements:\*\*

- Masters degree in Special Education

- State licensed in Special Education

- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or special needs

- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques

- Familiarity with alternative teaching methods for special needs students

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with students on the autism spectrum

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
