We are currently hiring for a full-time Self-Contained / Intensive Intervention Special Education Teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide individualized, intensive instruction to students with significant needs in a supportive and team-oriented school environment. Position Details: Role: Self-Contained / Intensive Intervention Special Education Teacher Setting: Elementary–Middle School (Grades 4–8) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Duration: July 31, 2025 – June 30, 2026 Weekly Hours: 37 guaranteed hours Work Environment: On-site only (no virtual or hybrid) Responsibilities: * Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs and intensive intervention needs. * Support academic, behavioral, communication, and life skills development. * Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families. * Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with documentation and timelines. * Modify curriculum and apply evidence-based practices to meet diverse learning needs. * Maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment. * Engage in ongoing professional development and school initiatives. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. * Valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License with Intensive Intervention endorsement. * Experience in self-contained or intensive support classrooms preferred. * Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
