We're partnering with a school district in DuPage County, IL to hire two Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in both elementary and middle school resource settings. The elementary position serves grades K–5 in a full-time K-5 Resource setting, running from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The middle school role is a full-time 8th Grade Resource Co-Taught position, with hours from 7:25 AM to 2:55 PM. Position Details: * Location: DuPage County, IL * Start Date: August 19, 2025 * End Date: June 4, 2026 * Elementary Opening: Full-time, K-5 Resource setting (Grades K–5), 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM * Middle School Opening: Full-time, 8th Grade Resource Co-Taught, 7:25 AM – 2:55 PM Responsibilities: * Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals. * Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers. * Manage caseloads (approximately 8–10 students for elementary). * Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students. * Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and progress monitoring. Qualifications: * Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement required. * Previous school-based special education experience preferred. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Passion for supporting diverse learners.
