Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) OR a Master's degree in Special Education

Special Education (MSD) Teacher: 2 Openings (Elementary and Middle School)

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement) OR a Master's degree in Special Education

Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in education

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Special Education Teacher in Shelbyville, KY, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with Kentucky state standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Assess student progress through various assignments and tests.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and individualized student support.
• Adapt and create instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Dedicate time beyond classroom hours for planning, meetings, and professional growth.

Starting salary for candidates with no prior experience: $43,000
