7-12 Special Education Teacher

Charlotte Valley CSD is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as Special Education Teacher.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing specialized support and instruction to

students with special needs.

Responsibilities *****

Planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons

*Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

*Adapting lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles

*Assessing and monitoring student progress

*Providing timely and constructive feedback to students and their families

*Creating an inclusive classroom environment

*Managing classroom behavior and enforcing school policies

*Effectively collaborating with colleagues

*Providing opportunities to engage students outside of the classroom

*Keeping accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance

Qualifications

Candidates shall possess or be on track to possess NYS teaching certification in 7-12 Special Education

and/or related NYS teaching certification.

Compensation

The successful candidate will be provided a tenure track, four year probationary position. Starting salary

is commensurate with experience, $50,444 to $68,226 plus contractual benefits.
