Job Position: Special Education Teacher (Middle/High School) Location: Near Melrose Park, Illinois Pay Rate: $40.00/hr to $50.00/hr Description: Bircg Agency is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education Teachers to support middle and high school students for the 20252026 school year . This unique opportunity is located in a single-building school near Melrose Park, IL , exclusively serving male students with specialized needs. Position Overview: As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping students reach their full potential by developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborating with support staff, and creating a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide instruction to students in accordance with their IEPs
Adapt general education lessons and teaching strategies to meet students' needs
Collaborate with staff, families, and service providers
Maintain records of student progress and adjust plans accordingly
Foster a safe and respectful learning environment
Qualifications: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
Experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Commitment to supporting the academic and behavioral growth of students with special needs
