*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students requiring additional support. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. * Provide direct education to students, focusing on behavior management and academic tutoring. * Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. * Facilitate small group sessions to address specific learning challenges and promote social skills development. * Assist in curriculum development tailored to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. * Maintain accurate records of student performance and intervention outcomes. * Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding student progress and strategies for improvement.
*Requirements*
* Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Childhood Development, or a related field is preferred. * Experience working with students in classroom settings, particularly those requiring special education services. * Knowledge of behavior management techniques and conflict resolution strategies. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff. * Ability to develop engaging curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning styles. * Experience in tutoring or providing one-on-one support is highly desirable. * Understanding of childhood development principles and their application in educational settings.
