Partners in Child Development is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to lead our first middle school classroom at the Anderson School in Andover, MA. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new program while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with complex medical and developmental needs. Come grow with us!
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM | 11-month school calendar
Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized curricula and IEPs
Lead classroom planning, instruction, and behavioral supports
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and support staff
Foster a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
What You Bring
Required : MA DESE Licensure (PreK–8) in Severe Disabilities or Moderate Disabilities (or in process)
Bachelor's or Master's in Special Education
Experience working with students ages 3–16 with multiple disabilities, medically fragile
Knowledge of the IEP process and special education best practices
Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform active classroom tasks
Passing of all background and fingerprint checks
