SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches students academic, social and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The teacher will be teaching in a program consisting of students with low-incidence disabilities.
SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Must hold an appropriate valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate Early Childhood and LBS1 endorsement. Ideal candidate will have experience with students with low incidence disabilities, instructional experience with modified curriculum and experience writing IEP goals, and an ability to lead IEP meetings.
