Buxmont Academy, a Pennsylvania-licensed private academic school, is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for our Bethlehem campus. About Us

Buxmont Academy operates six campuses across southeastern Pennsylvania. Our programs are rooted in restorative practices, helping students develop both academically and emotionally. We foster strong relationships among students, staff, and families to create a supportive school community.

The Role

As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work with students in grades 7-12, providing individualized and small-group instruction. You will also be responsible for:

• Developing and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Leading IEP meetings and collaborating with families and team members

• Supporting student growth through both academic and social-emotional learning

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4PM.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking an educator who is flexible, compassionate, and committed to making a difference. The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in education or special education

• Pennsylvania Special Education Certification, or eligibility to obtain it

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
