We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to join a school district in DuPage County, Illinois for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a full-time, in-person position running from August 11, 2025, through early November 2025. This role offers the opportunity to work with 1st–3rd grade students in a resource setting, providing specialized instruction and individualized support to help each student succeed. You’ll collaborate closely with general education teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure students meet their educational goals. Position Details: Location: DuPage County, Illinois Start Date: 8/11/2025 End Date: Early November 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, in person Grade Level: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade – Resource Caseload Information: Approximately 15 students Hours: Full-time, 40 guaranteed hours/week Responsibilities: * Provide specialized instruction and support for students in 1st–3rd grade with IEPs in a resource setting. * Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and related service providers. * Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress. * Maintain compliance with state and district special education requirements. Qualifications: * Active Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement. * Experience working with elementary students in a resource setting preferred. * Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. * Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
