Connected Health Care is partnering with an educational services provider to recruit three Special Education Teachers for full-time in-person roles in Huron and Coalinga, California . These positions offer the opportunity to support students with varying needs in well-resourced classrooms with paraprofessional assistance.

Available Openings:

1. Extensive Support Teacher – Elementary (Moderate/Severe) – Huron, CA

Grades TK–5

Caseload of 5 students

3 paraprofessional aides for classroom support

Focus on individualized academic and behavioral interventions

2. Extensive Support Teacher – Adult Transition (Moderate/Severe) – Coalinga, CA

Students ages 19–22

Caseload of 10 students

2 paraprofessional aides

Emphasis on life skills, vocational training, and community-based instruction

3. Mild/Moderate Special Education Teacher – High School – Coalinga, CA

Grades 9–12

Caseload of up to 20 students

1 paraprofessional aide

Role includes academic support, IEP implementation, and collaboration with general education staff

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs

Deliver differentiated instruction aligned with student needs

Collaborate with related service providers, families, and administrators

Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

Track student progress and maintain documentation

Qualifications:

Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe, depending on role)

Previous experience in special education preferred

Strong communication and case management skills
