Special Education Teacher

Location: Bridgeport, CT

Pay Rate: $55/hour

Schedule: Full-time, school hours

Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated school team in Bridgeport, Connecticut . This is a full-time opportunity for the 2025–2026 school year supporting students with diverse learning needs.

Position Highlights:

Provide instruction and support to students with IEPs

Develop and implement individualized education plans

Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff

Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines

Qualifications:

Connecticut Special Education certification (or eligibility)

Experience working with students in special education settings

Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
