Special Education Teacher - Fairfield, CA $55/hr | Full-Time | 2025-2026 School Year

Connected Health Care is partnering with an innovative school district in Fairfield, CA to recruit three Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year. Positions are available in both RSP (Resource Specialist Program) and SDC (Special Day Class) settings, serving students from TK through 12th grade.

POSITION DETAILS Start Date: August 2025

Location: Fairfield, CA (on-site)

Pay Rate: $55/hour + BONUS

Schedule: Full-time, school hours

Caseload Options:

RSP: Up to 28 students (push-in/pull-out services)

SDC: Up to 16 students (self-contained classroom) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement individualized IEPs with measurable goals

Provide specialized instruction using evidence-based practices

Maintain compliant documentation and progress monitoring

Collaborate with general education teachers, SLPs, OTs and families

Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS California Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Mod or Mod/Severe)

Experience with RSP or SDC programs preferred

Demonstrated skills in:

Differentiated instruction

Behavior management

IEP development Commitment to equity and inclusive education
