Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Contract Length:  20 weeks

Weekly Compensation: Up to $53/hr based on experience

Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for a 20-week contract near Forth Worth, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an Educational Services client, providing high-quality education to students with special needs.

Job Description:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects, such as reading, writing, and math, to students with mild and moderate disabilities. Teach basic skills, such as literacy and communication techniques, to students with severe disabilities. Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and parents to support student development and achievement. Monitor and assess students' progress and prepare reports on their progress. Use special tools and technology to enhance learning experiences.

Education and Certification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Texas teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students with special needs preferred. Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
