Special Education (SPED) Teacher – Leominster, MA

Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Hourly Compensation: Up to $50/hr (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join an esteemed Educational Services client in Leominster, MA. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative school setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs. Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and parents to provide an inclusive learning environment. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional approaches as needed. Provide direct instruction in small group and one-on-one settings. Utilize positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) to enhance student success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Massachusetts state licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility to obtain). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
