Special Education Teacher

Location: Troy, Michigan

Contract Length: Remainder of the 2024-2025 School Year

Compensation: Up to $50/hr (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with parents, school staff, and support professionals to ensure student success. Provide direct instruction and interventions in accordance with IEP goals. Utilize innovative strategies and resources to create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting plans as necessary. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations.

Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field. Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
