Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED - LBS1 Certified) Location: Bourbonnais, IL 60913 Pay Rate: $85/hour before taxes and benefits Contract Length: 43 Weeks Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time (In-Person) Orientation Start Date: August 11 Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher with LBS1 certification , preferably with high school life skills experience , to join our team in Bourbonnais, IL . This is a full-time, in-person position with a 43-week contract . Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction tailored to high school students, focusing on life skills development. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs. Collaborate with staff, families, and other professionals to support student success. Monitor and report on student progress. Maintain compliance with all applicable education regulations. Requirements: Must hold a valid Illinois LBS1 certification . Experience with high school life skills programs preferred . Ability to attend in-person orientation starting August 11 . Must be available to work Monday through Friday on-site in Bourbonnais, IL. Contract Details: 43-week contract $85/hour , paid weekly Full-time, in-person role
