School Year: 20252026 Start Date: September 2, 2025 End Date: June 5, 2026 Caseload: Elementary Classroom We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 20252026 school year. This full-time position will serve an elementary-level Setting 3 classroom, supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) who require a more structured and specialized learning environment. Position Overview: This role is ideal for an educator who understands the unique needs of students in a Setting 3 program, where students receive the majority of their instruction in a special education classroom. The teacher will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), provide direct instruction, and work collaboratively with support staff to ensure each students academic and behavioral success. Key Responsibilities: Deliver differentiated instruction aligned with student IEPs

Create a structured, predictable, and supportive classroom environment

Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction and progress monitoring

Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families

Implement behavior support plans and evidence-based strategies

Requirements: Bachelors Degree

State Licensure in Special Education (ASD or DCD licensure preferred)

Experience working with students with significant support needs in a self-contained setting is highly valued
