Job Posting: Onsite Self-Contained Special Education Teacher Philadelphia, PA Company: Soliant Education Contract: 2025-2026 School Year Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite Pay Range: $36-$50 per hour Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Self-Contained Special Education Teacher for an onsite position in Philadelphia, PA for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time role in a classroom comprised entirely of special education students with a range of disabilities. The teacher will be responsible for all academic instruction throughout the day. Responsibilities: Teach all core academic subjects including Reading, Math, Science, and College & Career Readiness Develop and implement individualized instruction plans to meet student needs Write, update, and maintain accurate IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons tailored to various learning styles and abilities Maintain accurate records of student progress and enter grades into the gradebook Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student success Attend IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions as required Supervise and collaborate with a full-time paraprofessional assigned to the classroom Manage classroom behavior and foster a supportive, structured learning environment Requirements: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience in a self-contained classroom preferred Strong understanding of instructional strategies for students with diverse disabilities Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle documentation responsibilities including IEPs and grading Benefits: Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Supportive recruitment and placement process Apply NOW!
