Special Education Teacher

to support an

elementary-level developmental classroom (self-contained) . This role involves working with students requiring specialized instruction in a structured, supportive environment. The assignment is for a partial school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction in a self-contained classroom for elementary students with developmental needs. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with support staff, general education teachers, and families to promote student progress. Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications: Active Special Education license/certification in the state of Oregon. Experience with self-contained or developmental classrooms preferred.
